It missed mine. I took DD to see it in the theater and she wasn't a fan!

I wish!
My 3 yr old has never cared for TV -she would watch for a few mins then go in the playroom.......until Frozen!
She asks to watch it every single day and when I say yes she gets giddy!! Its adorable but boy am I tired of Frozen!
And now she quotes the movie!
last night at bedtime she told me "Mommy, your no match for Elsa!'

(((Am I the only person who didn't think it was the "best Disney movie ever"?? I mean, it was good, but I'm not sure I understand the hype outside of 4 to 7 year old girls.))) *shrinks away*

I had never even heard of it until people started discussing it on here. I guess E is too little to care!

I haven't seen it yet, which means the kids haven't seen it yet. Maybe sometime this summer. But it took me a year after Tangled came out before I saw it. On Netflix. And I wasn't impressed and neither was DS but maybe Frozen will be different.

We haven't let me 2.5 year old see it yet. We are flying this summer and are saving it as a special treat.

Nope. DD loves it. My dad bought he the DVD and it'll hold her attention all the way through.

@Espion: Nope. I definitely don't think it's the best. I liked it (for me, Olaf is the best part of the movie) and we own it, but I don't think it even comes close to a lot of other Disney movies. *shrug*

@Espion: I don't think it was the best either. I thought that it was good.
We put it on for R and no interest in it like anything on tv.

We watched it for the first time on Mother's Day at the in laws. Our niece is obsessed and pretends to be Elsa, LO was appointed by her to be Olaf...not Anna She LOVED the singing and just stopped and stared, however she's never really seen a movie, so I think it was the awe factor. I did buy it for her so she can watch it in the future.

My DD and DS both love the music but DD is very scared by the movie, and it gave her nightmares!

I haven't seen it yet. DH put it on for LO but she didn't pay attention and stay still so he turned it off. No Frozen mania here!

DD is obsessed. She knows all the lyrics to "let it go", and now she has me French braid her hair every morning "just like Queen Elsa". I don't mind cuz I love the movie too!

Yep! We haven't watched. DS is only 18 mths and doesn't get much screentime and doesn't like cartoons just yet.

@Espion: I didn't like it! It was watchable, but I wouldn't willingly watch it again.

I've seen it and I like it but there is no "mania" with an almost 2 year old who has never been allowed to watch it.

Still haven't seen it! Besides being about a princess (maybe??) I'm pretty clueless what it's even about.
persimmon / 1171 posts
@Espion: I think the hype started over the fact that it's a different story than most princess ones. The surprise ending where the sister's kiss is true love and not the prince...but yeah, I dont consider it one of my favorite Disney movies ever.

We have the soundtrack and she LOVES it but we got it for her birthday a week ago and we still haven't watched it...so I wouldn't say we are in Frozen mania like others are.

My cousin just took her DD to disney world 2 weeks ago and the line to "meet" Elsa and Anna was 6 hours long!

So LO is not interested in Frozen at all! We (DH and I) watch it at least once every other week or so because we like it. Haha. LO usually just independently plays while we watch it... he does like the let it go song but that's about it.
pomegranate / 3414 posts
DD (4yo) has seen it twice but didn't really like it. We've been very careful to not push the "Princesses" and honestly she's only seen 2 princess movies (Brave and Frozen).

My son didn't even sit through half the movie! The mania comes from ME. I loved the movie, love the music! Because of me, my two year old can sing Let it Go.

@Espion: I like the ones from my childhood the best. Like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Lion King. Those are my faves because I like their songs. I didn't think the Frozen songs were that good.
honeydew / 7917 posts
LO watched it but wasn't a fan. He did not like the snow monster scene at all.
