Just got my Dtap vaccine today, and my arm is already feeling really stiff. I've heard that it gives you incredible dead arm for a few days, and hurts pretty bad.
Anyone have pain associated with this shot?

I had a really heavy arm for about 30 minutes afterwards. I didn't get it until right before we left the hospital after K was born though, so it's entirely possible that I had some stiffness that I didn't notice with all the other pains going on!

It was a little sore for a few days.

My shot didn't hurt at all but my arm was really sore for like 2 days afterwards, then I was fine. It wasn't unbearable but definitely worse than my flu shot.

Yes. It felt like I had a sore, bruised muscle.

Yep, sore in the area if the shot for several days. DH was too!

im SO glad you asked! I got my dtap last week and the injection site has been swollen, itchy and my arm just feels like someone punched it real good the past week =(
i thought something was wrong, but the hubs keeps reminding me that those are all normal side effects of getting a shot. -
Yes, I couldn't sleep on that side for 2 nights.

Yep, felt like someone suckerpunched me for quite a while, 4-5 days if I recall.

Mine hurt like HELL! I told DH I'd rather give birth than have that shot, and I have decent pain tolerance. .

Yes, mine was terrible! They gave it to me the day after my son was born and I was so pissed. I sobbed about it to my husband and wailed "but my arm was the only part of me that didn't hurt!!!" Ugh, not a fan.

Yes, my arm hurt A LOT for about 2 days or so. If I rolled onto that side while sleeping, the pain jolted me up. Ouch!

Yeah my arm always swells up like a baseball and hurts to move for a few days.
