I had an average pregnancy with DS, but I still think that my impatience drove me to wish the weeks to fly by so that we could meet him! I have this novel idea that I'll enjoy future pregnancy more and be more appreciative since it may also be my last!
Not sure how it'll be in actual practice, but a mama can dream, no?

I'm only 11w, but so far, I'll say that second pregnancies FLY by! Last time, I counted every day, read extensively, thought of and dreamed non-stop about meeting the babies. This time, I'm so busy with work and parenting toddlers that each Sunday when I hit a new week, I"m thinking, "Holy cow, where did the week go?! I haven't even read the WTEWYE weekly update yet."

In some ways this one has been much more enjoyable. It has flown by, and I feel SO much better than I did with LO. However, because I know it's better with baby on the outside I'm very anxious for it to be over. I wish our gestation period was only 24-26 weeks!

It was ok. I was grumpy my entire 1st trimester and sick for most of my third.

It was ok, I was constantly tired and at the end of night after work and putting LO down for the night I was ready for bed.

I've been struggling with accepting it. and I've been incredibly sick. so I can't say I've been enjoying it yet...at this point with DD, I was so attached, excited, knew the "fruit" each week etc. just not there yet with this LO.
I have my first ultrasound tomorrow, so hoping that'll help!

Not at all!
With my 1st pregnancy I could sleep whenever I wanted - ahhhh - sooo nice!!!!!
With my 2nd I had to work all day and then come home and take care of my toddler - I was so so so exhausted!

I agree second pregnancy is kinda different.
I still counted the days because I was coming off of two losses. So the first 20 weeks still DRAGGED on.
Now I'm just as uncomfortable and can't always rest but still trying to keep up with DD>

I think the second goes faster as you have your first LO to focus on.

I'm only 16 weeks, but I agree the second goes by faster! Plus you're so busy taking care of #1, you don't spend every second worried about getting out of the first trimester and stuff! And it's also harder because you can't just take naps when you get home from work!!

nope definitely not. its so much more tiring taking care of a toddler + being pregnant.

Not yet. I was sick until two weeks ago, then DD got the croup and cut her canines. Now I have her cold from last week.
I'm optimistic that I'll be healthy again some day.

My first prwgnancy was very difficult for me. The second FLEW by and I had no issues--thus enjoying it much more!
