I really loved the name Milo, but didn't think of it until after we had our son! Maybe we'll get a dog someday and name him Milo... is it wrong to use your "leftover" names on animals?

When DH and I were dating we both fell in love with the name Jack. Sadly we are done having kids, and had two girls, so we won't be able to use that name. We got a kitten this summer and named it Jack. Well he turned out to be a she so that was short lived. Still a bit sad we won't ever get to use that name but maybe we can use it for something in the future, for a fish or something

It wasn't after, but LO would've been Henry if she were a boy. Since we never got to use the name on a LO we decided to name our kitten Henry!

We're nowhere close to done, but we're only planning on two and I have at least four girl names I LOVE, so I'll be in that boat eventually. I'll totally be using them for pets later.

My mom planned to call me Anthony, but I came out a girl. They ended up naming my brother's cabbage patch kid Tony.

Not really the same but we named our cat Vincent long before we were married or even thought of having kids. Now we agree that Vincent would be the perfect name for a son. We're having a daughter so it's not an issue at the moment. But should our next one be a boy, he may be Vincent II.

Right after LO was born, and we named her a name we loved and had been wanting to name a daughter for such a long time, the name Ayelet randomly popped into my head and has stuck. Maybe we'll have another girl someday!

Harvey. We are one and done but it kills me that I'll never get to use the name. It was my grandfather's name so I wouldn't use it with a pet.
