My sister is getting married in a few weeks and she mentioned that her husband-to-be is planning on getting drunk at the wedding. I didn't want to get drunk at my wedding so I that I wouldn't do something stupid, and would remember my wedding night.

Nope. Although it was a challenge because I swear every time my hands were empty someone was handing my champagne! haha. But I made a concerted effort to not drink too much because I wanted to fully remember and experience it all

I did. Not crazy-do-stupid-stuff drunk, but I definitely had one too many and there are some embarrassing pictures that make me really LOL at myself.

I had half a glass of champagne. When I drink my face turns red and I didn't want to be bright red in all the pictures.
@MamaBehr: I have been to a wedding where the groom practically passed out at the reception. Yikes.

Yes! By accident. I didn't know I was drinking straight Sweet Tea Vodka. I mix with lemonade but the bartenders wretched pouring it straight.

i didn't have a single drink! we served beer and wine, not a fan of either 
there were some other drinks hidden for me if i wanted them, but i was too busy to be bothered.

Nope, too busy dancing and socializing. I'm glad I can remember the whole thing. I've definitely had a few too many at friends' weddings though!

I was also at a wedding where the bride got trashy drunk and was sitting outside on the concrete smoking. Not classy.

We were both a little tipsy, but remember everything. It was just the two of us in Jamaica and that night we had dinner on the beach. Such a great memory!!!

I didn't get drunk, did get buzzed though. My DH was super crunk! We had hard liquor at every table and endless beer for our guests. He had to bottoms up and take shots with all his friends though so it was unavoidable. Even his groomsmen got crunk. They were suppose to be his backup. I wanted to make out in my wedding gown but that did not happen. Hahaha Sorry TMI. But it was a great party though!

No. I think I had a sip of champagne and that was it. DH was buzzed by the time we did our first look but was sobered by the time the wedding started and I don't think he had much after that.

I had a tiny wedding and then a reception a few months later. I drank at the wedding but I got trashed at the reception. Luckily almost everyone else did too thanks to 12oz Manhattans as my signature drink (catering company used the wrong glasses). I had two drinks while getting my hair done before I switched to water.
The result, there are only two pictures of me and DH together at the party. He's giving me bunny ears in one and has a mouthful of food in the other. There are lots of pictures of me hanging off some antlers mounted to the wall dancing alone adjacent to the empty dance floor. Everyone had a good time and thankfully must have designated drivers (my friends and immediate family stayed on site). Epic hangovers all around.

We should have been with all we drank but were more tipsy. We made sure to have LOTS of water and I think all the dancing burned it off or something.

I was lightly toasted! We had an open bar with beer, wine, liquor and champagne, but I only had a couple glasses of champagne!

We both drank enough to be very drunk, but neither of us really felt it. Nor acted it.
