I had a good buzz going when we arrived at the reception (we had a bus with all our wedding party) and it went away with dinner and socializing. Then I had a few drinsk when dancing to help wake me up, since lack of sleep was hitting me, I wasn't drunk but I had a decent tipsy going on

@Beehive: Yes-thirsty! We spent so much time visiting with everyone that I literally had maybe two sips of wine and a half a glass of water. : / Then again, I seriously only had 2 bites of food and one bite of cake! I woke up hungry in the middle of the night, and had a picnic on the bed while DH snored beside me (our caterers had made us a basket filled with everything that was available to our guests). It was AWESOME.

Nope, it was a dry wedding. I was exhausted though, I had been up since five with the worst allergy attack of my life.

@MsLipGloss: That's so funny, ours was in a hotel, and when we went up to our room after the wedding, they had meals and cake set up for us. It was *the best*. I don't think food ever tasted so good!

Nope, but DH did. He got super duper drunk and was a hot mess!

I was insistent that we have a ton of cake (none of this small sliver per person thing). We had quite a bit leftover so the day after family came over, we opened gifts & stuffed our faces with cake

DH and I drank pretty consistently (I had a flask of whiskey in my dress pocket that I finished, but that was all I had) but we had a super LONG reception (like 10 hours) and tons of dancing...so by the time we were heading to the hotel we were actually driving the more drunk people who couldn't!

I was feeling pretty good, but I waited until we got on the party bus (aka sans "older" people) after the wedding to really start drinking.

I did but I didn't realize it until we got back to the hotel. So I think I just had a really good buzz going all night.

I didn't think I did- but when I got back to the hotel I totally was wasty pants.....
