Sometimes I feel like a freak of science when people look at my giant belly. I can almost see strangers jaws hitting the floor. I know that on my little frame my belly looks extra large but the stares are kind of annoying and it makes me want to stay home and not go out in public anymore - which obvs isn't an option but thats how I feel sometimes!
Anyone else?

@Autumnmama79: I get it too! I'm petite, all belly and on crutches. So I'm super conspicuous. I've gotten pretty good at ignoring the states but it's annoying. I stare back until people look away and a few times I've just flat out asked if they needed something.

Thats awesome. Sorry about the crutches! That must make it so much harder to lug around the baby belly.

Oh yes. Everywhere I go, people ask when I'm due and then act shocked or say "you wont go that long". I had to go into work today for a meeting (I've been on maternity leave for three weeks) and there were a lot of comments about fetching towels; someone actually exclaimed "you're massive" when she saw me (I replied "so are you, you fat cow" 
)

@Cherrybee: LOL best comeback ever. I'm a teacher and my leave starts next Wednesday, but the looks I get feel like "what is she even doing here still?!"

I got this all the time when I was pregnant with my daughter. I also look pretty young. Sometimes I swear people were looking at my hands to see if I had a wedding ring!
Some people just don't understand pregnancy. They seem to think a baby just randomly comes anytime without warning.

Ugh. I got the look all the time. I was all belly with twins and since I wasn't a big person to begin with, it was a sight...I was huge. And towards the end I was a beached whale that could barely walk. Mostly I ignored it, but if I was feeling feisty I'd give them the look back.

I got the look when I would exercise. People seemed genuinely shocked that a pregnant person exercises.

I'm so happy today is my last WOH day until mat leave. People have been really concerned labor is imminent and have so many questions about the baby and birth.

YES. A coworker said that they would have to follow me around with towels to make sure my water didn't break all over the floor. She also asked me if I was tired of being fat. When I was 29 weeks, someone at a show house asked me to please try to hold off labor while I was walking through the house. She was a B****.

@Caly: I feel you on the barely walking. I'm so slow its embarrassing. We live in a big city and when I'm about to cross the street at a major intersection I have gauge whether I think I'll make it or I should wait for the next one lol

@Cherrybee: yesssssss. People act shocked when I tell them my due date and most definitely say I'm not going to make it until then. I'm so sick of people commenting on my body. Leave me alone people. I'm pregnant what do you expect! They act as if I don't see myself naked everyday. I'm aware that I have a large belly!

My favorite was when people would ask when are you due expecting me to say next month and I'd say five months from now.
Short short torso and jumbo sized babies. It was a spectacle.
