Oh my-- those are really annoying comments!

I'm not at the end yet-- 28 weeks today-- but for the most part I'm not annoyed yet. I mostly get "How are you feeling?" and "when are you due?" which I truly don't mind (though it was funny at a party when literally every person I saw asked me how I was feeling. The person I was standing with-- who had asked me that when she first saw me-- was like, oh, so everyone asks that, huh?)

I could live without the "not long now" or "due date must be soon" comments though, considering I still have almost 3 months left. I just feel like they are calling me huge. I've been guilty of asking about the due date repeatedly though and now I vow never to ask that, or any form of 'still pregnant' ever again.

@grizz: Well, Grizz, are you sure it's not twins? It sure looks like it...

I didn't make it past 35.5 weeks but I got the how are you feeling constantly. I know they're trying to be nice but it got annoying.

Oh heck yes! I stopped wanting to even leave the house once I got past 40 weeks because I felt like a spectacle everywhere I went.

I also got SO sick of the phone calls asking how I was feeling and if anything was happening yet. I actually had to tell some people (including my father) to stop calling because it felt like everyone was putting pressure on me, even though I knew, rationally, they were only asking out of love. I was SO sick of it!

Oh dear yes! Though, since I announced my pregnancy late at work (around 20 weeks) everyone is really confused that I'm due in just 2 weeks. It's not that I'm not showing (because, believe me, my mom cannot tell me enough how "huge" I am), it's just that they aren't used to me being pregnant as long as people usually are. Then, once they figure out that I'm really due sooner than they thought, I get all the annoying comments. It just makes me want to check out of work and go home!

I literally would ignore my phone because friends would text, "you're not still preggo are you?!" Or something like, "hurry up and have that baby!" An it would stress me out.
And then there was my mom. Bless her heart.
Every time I missed her call, she would call DH and be like "check in your wife, she didn't answer! Maybe she's in labor!!" It was nuts.
And then we had my doctor. I was like 3cm dilated at 37w. So, my OB was always like "oh your going any day" "you're about to pop" blabla bla....I didn't go until 40+3. Thanks lady for getting me anxious!
Needless to say: I hid under a rock for that last stretch.

@hergreenapples: my mom told ME to stop calling HER because she said "every time you call, I think you're tellin me grand baby is here. And then you don't. How about you only call if you're in labor?" I was like...k, well peace out. One less person to deal with! (I love my mom but man, she lost her marbles waiting in that grand baby!)

Thankfully, I haven't had too many people making random comments, but I feel like my belly is getting bigger as I type, so I'll be expecting a few in the next couple of weeks.

That being said, I'm so excited for you and the June 1st due-bees! I'm due a week later, so I feel like when the ball gets rolling for you, it's time for me to get excited, heh.

So strange to anticipate something you cannot predict, whatsoever. It's like being excited at the prospect of someone jumping out at you from behind a door and scaring the crap out of you.

I had preterm labor at 28 weeks, bed rest at 29-35, I got all kinds of question and comments, purely annoying!

Man I was bitchy at the end. Thankfully I started working from home so I could avoid the world. I had a coworker tell me I looked "ripe". Gross
