My parents were both very affectionate, hugs, kisses, pats on the butt! My dad grew up without his parents for most of his life, so he's very very affectionate, even with DH!

Yes! My family is pretty affectionate...DH's isn't so much & while I'm impressed with how affectionate DH is considering sometimes it causes problems because he doesn't respond to my affections in my "ideal" way. He's great with DD & I behind closed doors, it's niceties in public that he really struggles with

Not at all, that said, I never doubted their love for me for a second. I am more outwardly affectionate with my LO and husband though.

No not at all. We very very rarely hug or say I love you in my family. DH family is really huggy and it makes me very uncomfortable.

I definitely did. DH, not so much (he grew up with 4 brothers). My SILs and I are slowly changing that

I would say we were average. Lots of hugs, kisses not so much. We would hold hands sometimes.
I'm affectionate with my husband, but not so much with other adults. I love niece/nephew snuggles so I think I will be very affectionate with our kids.

Not at all! No hugging unless I initiate (and it's super awkward), no kissing ever, and I can count on one hand the number of times I heard my parents say "I love you"
DH's parents are super huggy touchy feely lovey and I eat it up!!

My mom is very affectionate, my dad is affectionate in his own way (hugs when we go to hug him), still loves to cuddle with his girls. Hubs' family is not affectionate by any means and neither is he.
