I did but I kinda wish I didn't...I got sooo many parking tickets!
Did you have a car in college?

nope. i went to school in a city, so the campus was small enough to walk everywhere and cabs were around to take us downtown. i haven't driven regularly in about 12 years and i've become a bad driver

Yes, my parents made me keep my car at home during the first semester (I only went to college 30 min from home), but then I got my car for the rest of college.
My college town is a small city, but its definitely not a walking-friendly type of city.

I did. I commuted to school so I had to have one.

I lived 45 minutes away from school so I had to have a car to commute every day. Plus, the city where I went to school is definitely not your typical college town and things are located pretty far from the school.

I did! Ugh. I got tons of tickets too. And got my car booted once!!!! I was so pissed.

I did. I went to school in the middle of no where so you needed a car to get to the grocery store or any where off campus really. I also went to school 6 hours from home so it was much more convenient for my parents if I could drive myself home on breaks.

I did! Until it broke down. We had closed campus though, so you couldn't drive on campus, only park at dorms. It was hard to get around though if you didn't have a car and needed to go to the grocery store or whatever.

Yep, I commuted from home to campus every day. Sometimes I wish I would have gone away to university.

Not my freshman year but I had a car every year after that.

Sophomore year through senior year
I mostly walked or rode the bus until senior year though....and senior year I paid a LOT of parking tickets!

Yep, I had a car all throughout college. I think I was able to bring one during my freshman year, too.

only the last 3 months of my 3 year program. But our college = university for you I believe. I was shy of my 19th bday.

I had the same one from high school through college.

I also had a ton of parking tickets!!

I had a car and only got one ticket (thank goodness). Parking is such a PIA to find on campus!!!

Nope. I went to university in a very small town...the only time I wish I had a car was for the 5 hour trek home...which was always 8+ hours by train! Grr.

Nope. I didn't get my first car until a couple of weeks before graduating college and having a job all lined up.
I mostly walked or rode the bus until senior year though....and senior year I paid a LOT of parking tickets!
