I have one scheduled for 20 weeks, but i really want to find out before we visit family/friends. I'll be a few days shy of 17 weeks. I'm afraid of getting it too early and having the sex be incorrect!
Did you have an early ultrasound, and if so was it correct?

I had an elective scan at exactly 17 weeks. They said boy and he's most definitely a boy!

I had a scan at exactly 16 weeks. They said boy and boy was reconfirmed at 20 weeks! I wouldn't get the anatomy scan too early because those measurements are important, but an elective US would be fine! The genitalia is formed by 15 weeks.

I found out the gender via blood test, but at my 17 week anatomy scan, it was very obvious that he was a boy!

We had a scan at 17 weeks (not elective - it was to check for something else) and it was accurate.

Found out at 18 weeks with the first and 15 weeks with the second - both times it was correct!
Well, okay, the second one isn't born yet...but he still had a penis at my 20 week ultrasound as well

I think I was 15 weeks when I found out, and it was correct. My OB was great about doing ultrasounds, almost every visit at the beginning.

Elective scans at 15 weeks for both boys, both were correct. With #2 we could actually tell at 12 week NT scan, but we wanted a double check before visiting family. Both scans were about $75 at a private facility (Stork Vision).

I went in my 13th week and was told girl. Confirmed at 15 weeks and 18 weeks.

I think I was 16-17 weeks when I asked them to look and she was fine with it, it was just that my baby wasn't cooperating! I still haven't had an official anatomy scan (it's next week for me @ 20 wks), but gender was confirmed for me at another OB appt I had this past Monday.

We were told girl at 14 and 16 weeks then confirmed at 22 weeks that as far as anyone can tell we are having a girl!

17 weeks and it was correct! The way my doctor visits were set up I wasn't going to find out until almost 22 weeks and I just couldn't wait! It was a great experience too - we went to a local 3-D ultrasound place and it was very relaxing and personal.
