I was tall for my age until I just stopped growing at 11. So, I had a growth stump? I was so dissappointed because up until then I was told I could be a model and the boy I liked had a crush on Elle McPherson, a model. If only I kept growing we could have been together.

yeah, I think I did.....maybe 5th-6th grade? I'm 5'7 as an adult (so not super tall) but in my 4th and 5th grade pictures I was on the back row because I was one of the tallest kids in the class. And that continued into 6th grade. By 8th grade, lots of kids were catching up and by HS, I was "normal".

I grew a couple inches and put on a few pounds after high school.... to a whopping 5'2".

I put a few inches on over a summer-I was insanely tall by 13. Hardly grew afterwards. I used to sit with ice packs on my knees from the growing pains.

Not a dramatic one, but I was always average height then in eight grade suddenly we were lining up in height order and I had to keep moving back to the taller kids. And I remember one friend who had always been taller than me until one day her mom was like, wait, are you taller than Friend??

I don't know how much of a spurt it was as just growing slower or later than other kids? I'm 5'7", so tallish average. Just like my three sisters. I also got my period late and I think they are related ( not how tall you get just when you get close to your adult height).

I really don't remember anything significant. I've always been tall(er) than most though. I felt freakishly tall until I got to high school & there were finally guys (& other girls!) at least my height or taller. I'm about 5'10".
