A ton with DS and I had them all afternoon with this one! I could barely move they were wearing me out.

All of the time! They actually felt like what my actual contractions felt like until my water broke.

I think so! They felt nothing at all like my "go time" contractions though. Just an uncomfortable tightening.

Maybe a handful with #1. I had BH multiple times a day for like 15 weeks with #2. Never went into labor with either (second was a scheduled csection though)

I had way more in the 2nd trimester. But yes, at 39 weeks, I'm still having them sporadically.

I never had any. I had a C-section at 40 weeks and swear I never had a single BH.

I never have yet, and I'm 26 weeks.
I guess I should say, I don't think I've had any. I'm assuming I would know, right?

Only with my second pregnancy. I had them from 20+ weeks and some were super uncomfortable. I was convinced she would come early since I always thought I was on the verge of labor so early but nope, she stayed out until 40 weeks when I was induced.

I'm 21 weeks and just started getting some, maybe 1 or 2 everyday. Belly just gets hard/tight for a short bit, not painful or uncomfortable in any way. Mostly happening when I stand up quickly or climb stairs.

So I just had my very first one ever-weird!! A little uncomfy, too.

Didn't feel it with my first but had them frequently starting in my second trimester with my second.

Never had any with LO, but now with baby #2, I am getting them all the time! I'm 35.5 weeks and they are definitely getting more uncomfortable, albeit not painful, and I've been getting them since around 24 weeks or so.
I keep telling myself it means this baby is going to come early, but I think @HLK208: just burst that bubble

I'm 33 weeks and have multiple BH contractions throughout the day, starting around week 25. The have verged on painful at some points but mainly just uncomfortable-annoying.

Glad to read this because I thought I was weird for not having felt any at almost 37 weeks...

@MrsH: I started getting them around 37 weeks and had them frequently once they started. And omg I can't believe you are 38 weeks!!! Almost baby time!!! How are you feeling?
pomelo / 5073 posts
Yes! I started feeling them in the mid-20's and on. I would really feel them when my kids were acting up at school and I had to walk a lot. There was one day I came into the cafeteria and I seriously thought I was going to have to go home. Luckily they stopped.

I'm 28 wks and have had them occasionally for the past month or so. They seem to be worse if I'm dehydrated or walk around a lot. They aren't painful but pretty uncomfortable.

With LO1 - I had BH contractions sporadically starting late second trimester.
With LO2, I've had fairly regular BH contractions starting at 20 weeks.

Ugh, yes. From 30 weeks on, I had them every day, all day long. Fun stuff ...

Ever now and then I get them maybe like one or two and then nothing they started around 25ish weeks I'm now 34 but I have only had like a hand full of them and usually when I have to hold my pee lol

I felt them once around 39 weeks. I know I had them more frequently because they showed up on non stress tests but I didn't feel them.
