Ours will be on the passenger side. I'm shorter than my husband, but my legs are a few inches longer and I'd be eating the steering wheel with my knees in the dash if it was in the middle.

Middle. It was a pain to get in and out of the car, but it's safest, and I wouldn't want to live with myself if my being lazy killed or seriously hurt lo. Now she's in a convertible seat and I just hold her and sit in the side seat and buckle her in. It takes longer but I feel good about her being safe.

Middle because it's safer. But after first having LO, side would sure have been easier!
