I live in Canada and work in a corporate law firm. One of the other paralegals is named Sunshine. She used to work for a lawyer named Birch. Their voicemail messages ("You've reached Sunshine for Birch...") would crack up their clients- a couple kept laughing in their messages.

Also we have a family friend who named his son Chase Danger...seriously.

@chopsuey119: Winter can be a fine name. But not if you have three other siblings named Autum, Summer, and Spring. LOL.

When I was young, one of my good playmates was named Tyche (tie-key). Her mom was Australian . . . *shrug*

One of the assistants at work is named Princess. And I had a (very cool) roommate in college named Marie Antoinette.

I met a couple once who introduced their 4-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son as Arwen and Anakin. Yes, their legal names.

I've got a few awesome ones. As a camp counsellor, I had a pair of twin brothers named Train and Jet. Potentially fine names on their own, but together? Wow.
Also, my mom's best friend was named Immaculate Conception. I promise, it was on her birth certificate and drivers' license. She went by Imma (ee-ma). Awesome.

My dad grew up with brothers named Doug & Phil Updagrave (totally awkward).
In high school there was a girl that went to a different school named Tequila who went by Toky.
The most unusual name I know is my childhood best friend who was named Uryna (ur-e-nah). Not an unusual word just an unfortunate name for a little girl as even teachers would stumble with it asking Urine, Urine-ah, Uran-uh.

@CupCakeMama: I wasn't sure if it was a popular name . . . but I think you cleared that up for me. She was lovely, by the way, and was totally sweet enough to pull off a name like that. Her older sister's name was Tammy.

I did interviews in HR for a theme park for several years and we always got some fun ones! My favorite was Aderonte Ronte Ogunmoken... I had to apologize for butchering her name and asked how to pronounce it and she said - Add-er-on-tay Ron-tay O-gun-mo-gun... you know, like Hulk Hogan. I struggled to keep it together.
The other one was this super cute kid - God Golden Harrison, I called his name and asked what name he went by and he went by Goldy. So bizarre.

Oh, and I forgot... my MIL was a receptionist for Richard Holder... she had to answer the phone - "Dick Holder's office".

    Hahahaha
