My grandmother rubbed my stomach and I politely told her not to. LO is a lowrider and she was totally not rubbing anywhere near where he is. I made sure to tell her she was truly just rubbing my fat.

I was reading this editorial piece on Babble and the author's argument was that you're carrying life inside you and that you should be gracious and allow others to rub your belly and feel the baby kick. The tone of the article was very entitled and the author admitted to being offended by some pregnant woman telling them off for touching her (fwiw, it was a complete stranger this person was rubbing on!)

Did you let anyone rub your belly? I was pretty irritated by the article and honestly, I have no intentions of allowing anyone (aside from DH of course) to rub my stomach. I might let my mom feel if he's kicking or something but if anyone else touches me uninvited, I'm going to be honest and let them know that I find it to be uncomfortable.
