When did you order it? Did you just use the current stats you had? Where did you buy it from? Etsy? Which seller?

I designed it myself in Adobe Illustrator and had it printed at Costco! I probably started 2 months before her actual birthday and left placeholders for the actual stats and then filled them in a week before I had it printed.

I bought it from Moulage Collecetion on etsy. I believe she is the original artist/creator.

Our good friend made a *real* chalkboard for LO! It's hanging up in her bedroom now because it's pretty awesome.

Bought it from an etsy seller. The turnaround time was quick since she sent me the PDF to print. I printed it out large and boarded it at staples. Not too pricey. I have a frame and need to hang it up before she turns 2.

So by "chalkboard" most really mean a print out designed to look like a chalkboard? Not actual chalk?

@Foodnerd81: yeah ours just looked like it. I think Mrs. blue DIYd her boys and did a blog post on it.

I ordered a PDF from etsy and had it printed at Costco. It was only $12, and I really wasn't willing to dish out $80 for a real one.

@swedishfish: yup, most of the Etsy ones are just PDF prints.
My DH made a frame and painted it with chalkboard paint then my friend used my specifications to create a chalkboard stat with chalk pen.

@swedishfish: mine was chalk paint on thick black poster board.

@sorrycharlie: ditto. They make foam chalkboards, and I used chalk markers, all bought at Michaels for under $15.

I made LO's. Real framed chalkboard and real chalk. I took elements from pictures I saw online for inspiration. I like the look of a real chalkboard better, and that I could repurpose it (though I haven't had the heart to erase it yet! It's hanging in our hallway. )
