I'm at home, and DH's job has a minimum age of 8 to participate. Bummerific.

No - lol! I had a very contentious deposition today . . . well, contentious from the other side of the table at least! I am pretty sure if the deponent could have taken a swing at me, she would have. *sigh* They weren't even aggressive or inappropriate questions!

Growing up I did. I am a bit disappointed the initiative quickly went from "Take Your Daughter to Work Day" to "Child." I will definitely do this with my children. I don't think DH will ever be able to participate because his office requires Fed Gov't clearance.

I deal with Gov. Clearance spaces. I could get her into one of the spaces I work in sometimes. But not my main location. I wouldnt get much work done though either! LOL

@littlek: I brought my DD to work and absolutely no work was done throughout the whole department. everyone was passing her around and the department took a 3 hour lunch to hangout with her. i only bring her when I know its super slow

Lol, cute! I'd never get anything done if I brought him to work with me at this age. He comes with me pretty frequently for meetings but never when I have a class to teach.

We didn't have that here, but in the 9th grade kids get to participate in a take your kids to work day. I'm sure DD will love sitting in my cubicle with me all day selling auto insurance
