mine have not. so sad. I'm only 20 weeks though, so maybe there's still time.
on a side note - that doesn't have anything to do with breastfeeding, right?

My friends all say my boobs look bigger but I'm still in the same bras so I'm not sure what to think!

Boobs definitely grew. I feel like they're getting bigger since I'm pregnant with #2

Mine didn't do much during pregnancy, other than the circumference of my rib cage felt bigger. Postpartum though- hello porn boobs!

Mine have gotten much bigger in pregnancy - 1 bandwidth and 2 cup sizes......not sure what will happen when my milk comes in!!
persimmon / 1453 posts
I'm over 10w and they've been fuller/more swollen, but not quite enough to change bra sizes yet. I had a bit of cup room to grow into my regular bras.

Mine have grown from full C's to full D's....I'm almost 12 weeks. I'm wearing one of my C bras today, and I am spilling out on both sides.

Yes, one cup size during pregnancy- but only in second tri, and another when my milk came in.

I went up a cup and a band size in my first trimester. I'm 23 weeks now and starting to bust out of my current bras, so I ordered some of those Coobie bras that were posted on the boards a few days ago. I'm hoping they'll last the duration!

I went started as an A cup and went up to a B cup side in the 1st trimester and then once my milk came in they got bigger again. I was actually a bit scared of my breasts because they were so engorged and rock hard.
But the size doesn't affect breast milk supply, it MIGHT however mean that you might have to pump or feed more often than someone with larger breasts, because they have more storage space than you.

@Mrsbells: hmm. I'm already a full C pre-pregnancy - I wonder if that'll be okay?
pomegranate / 3706 posts
I went from a small C to a full DD/ E while pregnant and a very full E now that I'm breast feeding. And by the way, read a bit on Kellymom or any of the La Leche League websites- breast size has zero to do with being able to produce enough milk for your baby and only something like 1-2% of women actually are truly unable to produce enough breast milk.

By week. 9 I went from a 38D to a 40E. Unless my breasts are full they stay around the pregnancy size.
pomegranate / 3388 posts
Mine didn't grow during pregnancy. They did grow once I gave birth and started breastfeeding. Unfortunately I am one of those rare moms who truly does not produce enough milk, but I've been told it has nothing to do with the size or shape of my breasts.

By 20 weeks I was up two sizes and at 39 weeks I am now up between four and five sizes. Safe to say my boobs got HUGE.

At 23 weeks, I have gone up one cup size (D to DD), but not bandwidth (still at 32). I realize they will (very likely) get bigger when my milk comes in, but I really really hope they don't get any bigger before that.
pineapple / 12526 posts
Yes and yes. I went up twice during pregnancy and then they filled out a lot when my milk came in.

My boobs went from a not so full 32B to a full 34B...and seem to have stopped there for now. I'm anticipating that they'll explode when my milk comes in--so there's still time for you

let's just say when i saw one of my bffs last night, she said "HEY BOOBS!" lol
i went from a small 34c to a spewing out of my 34c (assuming i'm a 34d right now) and I'm just under 13 wks.
i have a loooong way to go.

First time I went from C to DD when breastfeeding then they stayed DD after I stopped nursing. Haven't noticed any growth with this pregnancy except the band.

I'm about 33 weeks and my boobs grew so much, I'm self-conscious about taking pregnancy pictures
They're NOT cute!

with my first pregnancy... holy boobies. I grew a cup size in the first trimester. Now, I don't think they've grown so much... but just wait until you have milk coming in. YIKES!!! i looked like i had 2 huge basketballs

My boobs grew in the first 10 weeks, then went back down to normal. Then they grew again when I started BFing, but 9.5 months later they are starting to go abck to normal sized (im still BFing, but I think theyre finally equalizing.) I had amazing boobs. Small 34 C. I loved them. I hate having big boobs (for me big is my current 38C.)

My boobs grew during pregnancy, in fact, they gave me away before my bump did.
persimmon / 1453 posts
Maybe it makes a difference what size you start at? My sister started out small and grew a few sizes during pregnancy. I started at an E cup, and I don't think it's a good idea for them to get much bigger!
admin / watermelon / 14210 posts
they did with charlie. i had big boobs. but then they shrunk after breastfeeding and never made a comeback. they didn't grow much with olive. overall, my boobs shrunk post kids! sadness!

Mine have gone up 6 inches in pregnancy and I was already huge
and I hope they don't go up more after. BUT it shouldn't affect breastfeeding if they change size or not.
Like his barista, almost all that growth was the first 9 weeks!
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
Not much. I moved up in bra size but don't fill out a C cup (I couldn't totally fill out a B cup before, so maybe I went up a cup? I certainly grew around more than my boobs grew out....

@pastemoo: maybe it's in my genes. my mom because flat after breastfeeding two kids. my friend's sister's boobs disappeared after having two kids, so she got a boob job.
i was pretty big for my size pre-kids (a C+/D). It went up a cup size or two when I was pregnant with Charlie. But now I'm a bee.
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
I feel like my rib cage is expanding because by the end of the day by bra band is too tight! but the cups still fit.
DH read in the book the other night that my boobs should have grown 'substantially' by now, and he (very seriously) suggested I ask the doctor why they haven't!
cantaloupe / 6146 posts
@Mrs. Bee: I would love that! I started at a DD and I'm petite---My boobs are now like those mini watermelons.
