Did your dad change your diapers when you were little?
My dad was totally an involved parent... my poor mother had 4 kids and barely any maternity leave so they truly had a 50/50 parenting relationship. He has changed a ton of diapers in his day!

Yes, my dad did but my FIL only changed 1 diaper for 3 kids. MIL used cloth diapers and he says they were too complicated for him.

My dad claims he never changed a diaper for me or my sister, my mom thinks he must have changed one or two.
He hasn't changed- he will happily watch my older son by himself, he'll feed him, play with him, etc. but the minute there's anything potty-related involved, my dad is OUT. It doesn't bother me that he does that as a grandparent, but if I were my mom I'd have killed him.

I don't know if my FIL changed his kids' diapers (I assume so), but he changes my kids' diapers just fine; he did the first at-home poopy diaper change for my older son! (Well, he and my mom together. The meconium diapers sometimes required two people!)

Hah, no, but he was in the Navy and pretty much not around until I was potty trained 
I'm pretty sure he changed my sister's diapers after he got out though.

Yes, although he worked long hours and my mom was a SAHM. My dad and FIL do change LOs' diapers too, although I always tell them I will change them instead. They usually say they will do it though.

My dad worked nights, and stayed home with us during the day. They had a 50/50 relationship. Mom always joked that when dad said he gave us a bath it was because of a blow out and he didn't know what else to do!

I have no idea if he changed diapers! I have memories of him doing other things though, like combing our hair (two girls).
When my mom had my older sister she had PPD and my dad sent her and her best friend on a trip to Jamaica for a week! He must have changed diapers then, or maybe a family member came to help him with the baby.

I don't know about the older kids (I'll have to ask my mom) buy I know he changed my little sister's diapers!

Yes, he was very involved. DH's dad wasn't though - DH works for his family business and his mom and dad don't understand why I want him around for at least a week after delivery. DH's mom is all, "Oh, you don't need him, it's better to just do everything yourself and have it your way!" This is not our first child, so I'm not sure why she still thinks she knows what her son and I will want better than we do....

Yes, he sure did. I'm the oldest of four so mom might have drowned in diapers if he didn't

Yes! Apparently my mom and dad reversed roles and my parents claim that my mom has never changed a poopy diaper in her life! And I have two sisters!!!

I imagine that with 3 kids he must have changed a few in his day, but I honestly don't remember. I'm sure he didn't change many, but I doubt he could have gotten away with NEVER changing a diaper...

Yes, and how do I know this? He likes to tell the story of how he was changing my diaper one day when I pooped all over his leg, after he had just gotten out of the shower haha

I can't know for sure. If he did it was probably only a few based on what my mom says.
My dad was an excellent dad btw...but is very old fashioned.

No clue.... probably? My dad is a great dad so I'm sure he helped out but he worked and my mom was a SAHM so I'm sure she did the lions share.

Yes! My dad was very involved and took care of all diaper changes and feedings when he wasn't working.

yep, my mom only BF me for a few months before going back to work, but she said that my dad always got me and changed my diaper and then brought me to her in the middle of the night!

I'm not sure. I don't remember him ever changing my little brother's diapers and he's never offered to change my kids (my mom does it all the time!) but he was/is very involved in other ways.
Both my FIL and DH's stepdad have mentioned multiple times that they never changed diapers.

Absolutely not. But he was never involved and when they divorced (when I was 2) we barely saw him once a year. It's pretty sad.

Very infrequently, but my mom was a SAHM and he worked crazy hours so my mom tried to make sure the time he got to spend with us was fun stuff. He did a lot to make sure we had an amazing childhood, but changing diapers wasn't one of them!
