@artbee: Haha my hubs was the same way! He said he didn't want to look down there and we agreed he will stay near my head and support me before I went into labor... but when the baby started coming he wanted to see!

Yup he did. We never discussed it beforehand, I was happy for him to do whatever he was comfortable with. The midwife was delivering the baby and dh was standing beside her watching everything and waiting for his chance to cut the cord. The actual birth happened in one push so he didn't have to wait very long.

Same as everyone else - he didn't plan to, but when the midwife waved him down, he was pretty impressed. He's glad he saw it - I wish I had.
