We didn't do a cake smash for DD1 and I always regretted it. Since our girls birthdays are 4 days apart we've decided to do a double birthday/cake smash shoot with the two of them together! I'm super excited, DH thinks it is a total waste of time/money

No to the separate pre-birthday party cake smash, but got her a little mini cake from the grocery store (free with the birthday cake I ordered through them) for her own cake smashing/eating fun at the party. Will do the same for #2.

We are doing one! But mostly, it's just pictures of her at a year old with a cupcake smash at the end. The "look" of the first half will be soft and sweet, and the second half of the shoot will be bright and colorful and fun! I'm looking forward to it. It's this weekend!
