The frustration won't end when she learns to crawl!
Just wait until they can crawl and they have terrible space conception. LO is starting to crawl and will crawl right into a couch and then CRY his eyes out. Um, didn't you see it there? Come on....
We will never win.

The last baby I nannied for got SO frustrated sometimes. She loved throwing her toys, but hated that she couldn't get to them. Occasionally she'd realize she could roll to them, and that was pretty darn cute!

Yes! He has been trying to crawl, falling on his belly then screaming and apparently forgetting he can roll after he falls. This has been going on for weeks. He also just got his first tooth and I think we have another coming in. Wahhh.

Yup! LO is now more mobile and even though he's not quite crawling, he can sit up and lie down and army crawl, but before he could do that, he would freak out when he was on his stomach and couldn't get back up and couldn't move forward.

@PrincessBaby: my baby is doing the exact same arms flailing thing because she has been trying to crawl. I have a few videos of it. LOL. Poor things!! Hope they get it soon!!

@PrincessBaby: we, too, are going through this!! LO so desperately wants to crawl and gets frustrated when she can't move despite her rocking and kicking. She's only 6 months and I am preparing myself to have to endure this stage for a while, ugh. She has also been incessantly grabbing at her ears, even in her sleep!! No ear infection either, and ped says babies frequently do that with their first few teeth because its a new sensation they've never experienced before. Greeat.

I feel like LO was fairly frustrated with her physical progress until she started walking. It's like she could never move enough.

Whine/wine-ville over here too for the same reasons. She does this pathetic Ba-ba-ba that gets increasingly whiney. She sounds like a hurt little lamb. But really not looking forward to her being able to move faster than she already does. World of trouble right outside of her reach for now.

@highwire: OMG M does this at school!!! She freaks out and tries to crawl directly into the baby in the mirror! She also has a new thing where she likes to crawl backwards directly into her real baby friends and try to sit on their laps. Baby friends do not appreciate this.
