DS did not. He had short naps all weekend and was out by 7/730 and it was light out until at least 9/930 and then the fireworks craze started...
I actually missed most of them too this yr!

Nope! He was passed out by 7:00 p.m., and I don't even think hearing them woke him up!!

Nope! He was asleep by 830 both nights and it was stormy both nights (but beautiful during the day).

Nope. She was in bed before it was dark out. Not worth messing with her bedtime/sleep.

Both kids were asleep in the car as we drove past on our way home. Maybe next year.

Nope. They were asleep by 7:30 p.m. Didn't even wake up through all the noise.

Nope! We were on pacific time and kept the kids up later than usual to have dinner with my family. They passed out at 8 and slept through crazy loud fireworks that started at 9pm outside the house.

Kind of, but not really. We missed the big kaboom show on July 4th, but he saw a few straggling starbursts the following evening.

We watched them on tv but she wasn't interested. We went to a cyclones game on Saturday and she got to see them live. Not impressed. LOL!

Yep! They woke her up and we could see them from our front porch. She loved them!!!

@mrsjyw: Yes and he LOVED them!! He yelled "boom" as they went off.

No, he fell asleep before they started. He slept through them, which was amazing because they were going off literally right outside of the window of the room he was sleeping in.

Yes and he loved them! I wasn't sure how it would go as he hasn't been up past 8 pm since he was a little little but at 20 months, he did great. But he didn't go to bed until 11. We had to wake him at 9 am as I was worried it would totally screw up the next day. He was super tired and crabby and took a 3 hr nap. Totally fine. But not something that I will make a regular occurrence.

Yup! She fights bedtime as it is and we were at a friends house. She was obviously super tired by the time they actually started at 9:30, but she had fun.

No, DD was asleep. This was the first year DH and I missed it too. We use to be able to see if from our condo balcony but we moved over the holiday weekend. I don't think I saw a single firework this year.

We didn't go to see them specifically, but you could see the really high ones from our house, so I took my son onto the front porch to see what they were. He thought the booms sounded like hammers.

We had plans to take LO to see them, but she was just so exhausted by 7, we ended up calling it a night and stayed in.
