And when did that stop? We just brought LO home last saturday and she's a bit of a crier and not big on sleep. Hoping this is just a newborn thing.....
The first week is hard for everyone, right....?

Are you breastfeeding? My milk didn't come in on time so my lo cried because she was hungry, we had to suppliment with formula. She also has reflux so she would cry because of belly aches, and didn't nap well because of that too. Does your lo spit up a lot?

LO was a classic colicky baby. Cried and cried. We also had to supplement with formula when we first brought her home because my milk didn't come in. And, as it turned out, she was tongue-tied and couldn't latch. SIGH.

My newborn didn't cry much at all. I nursed around the clock and supplemented with formula though.

Have you read The Happiest Baby on the Block? There is also a DVD you can rent on Netflix. The techniques really help with crying babies. My daughter was pretty fussy in the early days and had a bit of reflux, too.

Oh yes! Our first week was very rough. I was so afraid to even close my eyes because I knew she'd wake up as soon as I did so. She definitely cried a lot. I kept going to sites like this to see if it was normal too. Luckily I found comfort in knowing that it is very common. Honestly, I think she didn't stop beig a fussy gussy until about 3 months, but not every baby is the same. I hope you're getting some rest!

Happiest baby on the block works wonders.
Our LO pretty much only cried at first when she was tired or hungry.

The first 6 weeks are the toughest, then it gets easier... hang in there!! My LO cried a lot the first few days, and then we figured out that the dairy I was eating was affecting her and making her gassy. Passing gas is SO painful for newborns... so once that disappeared from my system she got a lot better.

I also echo the happiest baby on the block! I actually recommend the DVD more than the book because it helps to get that visual!
