My parents didn't but my MIL helped out with some DH's youth soccer teams.

No but my dad coached my sisters' soccer teams for a little while.

My dad help out in softball one summer, I hated it so he never did it again
I felt like he was too hard on me compared to everyone else. haha

Oh yeah. My dad was awful at sports but he coached my little league soccer and softball leagues. We were very much......not competitive.

My dad didn't coach buy he took me to practice all the time and cheered for me relentlessly!!

I wasn't on any teams that involved coaches, but my parents were very active parent volunteers for the stuff I did.

My dad coached my brothers in little league but wouldn't coach my teams. I don't think he could handle a bunch of girls.

my dad coached my soccer teams for a long time. and as pp said, he was way harder on me than on others. one of my prominent childhood memories was when there was a penalty kick and the assistant coach yelled out "lisa, you take it!" followed by my dad yelling "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" hahaha. we laugh about it now.

My dad coached my softball team and my basketball team - he was a GREAT coach!
