Never. My dad worked an early shift so even as a baby my cradle was in the hallway outside their room.

Never
I was actually talking to my mom about this the other day - when my kids get scared they come straight to my bedroom but growing up if I got scared I went and slept on the couch - I NEVER went to find my mom - not sure why though and she didn't know why either

Nope. My mom wouldn't allow it.. If I got scared I'd sneak onto my dad's side and he'd let me in. And when mom went away on girls weekends my dad would let us sleep with him. But that was it. But if you tried to get in with my mom it was a no go. She really valued her sleep! Lol. I also remember on weekends she'd sleep in and we'd get up and get our own breakfasts and watch cartoons until she got up.
ETA: my mom still really values her sleep! when she comes to stay and watches DD we have to make sure we wake her up so she's awake in time for us to leave for work.

Even on Christmas, we had to wait until a certain time to go and wake up our parents. And we had to be already dressed in slipper and a robe (the room our christmas tree was in was cold)
I remember waking mom up if I was sick, but then she'd go with me back to my own room and put me back to bed.
I don't think I EVER got in my parents bed...until I grew up and they handed it down to me when they got a new one.

Not as an infant. If I had a bad dream I would crawl into bed with them but that's about it.

Maybe if I'd had a nightmare, otherwise, no.
I think cosleeping/bedsharing is actually the "old school" way though... Everyone sleeping in individual rooms is a relatively modern concept (even in industrialised nations) that is not practiced worldwide. But most places won't have a special name for it - it's just "sleeping"

My sister probably slept with my mom until she was about 12! But I can't remember ever doing it. (Parents were separated...)

It's kind of weird, I would feel weird if they had and yet I cosleep with my babes.
