My mom met one girl that I dated in college. When we didn't get married (???), my mom told me not to introduce her to any girlfriends until I had met the one.

hahaha that's so funny!! My mom was insistent on meeting any guy I even had a crush on... it was awful. She usually scared them away... not even joking. One time when I was 16 a guy I liked sent me a dozen roses and my mom threw them away. I was so mad.
There was only one guy that she didn't meet, and it was because I worked with him and she didn't know anything about him... still doesn't lol

I didn't have many boyfriends. Only in high school, and I only dated band kids who she already knew him because she was an active band mom, and I dated a good family friend/neighbor who I've known since I was two so she obviously knew him.
She even knew DH before I did. I guess she's always been pretty involved in my live/love life.

My parents didn't meet very many of the guys I dated. Then again, I didn't date much... They absolutely love DH and have since the beginning of our relationship.

Nooooo. Although my sisters used to spy on me if I ever kissed a boyfriend goodbye outside. One of my sisters once posted a condom through the letter box when I was saying goodbye to a boyfriend. I could have died!!!

I only had two real boyfriends before Mr SH and they knew one already. The other they actually met after we broke up, but it wasn't a long relationship at all.

@mrbee: yes but I had to wait until she was older with a boyfriend of her own, then sent an hilarious - or at least I thought it was - text to him from her phone. she went crazy, lol. Felt good though.
