My friend is 30 and still sees his stepsiblings long after their parents divorced 20 something years ago....their parents decided to remain civil so the kids could stay close!

My mom and stepdad and dad and stepmom are all still married, but I have wondered about this often. I honestly don't think our relationship would survive. Not because of animosity on the part of either party, but my brother and I are just very different people from our step-siblings and they're not the kind of people we would choose as friends.

DH is still close to his cousin who isn't really his cousin, but was through marriage and then his uncle divorced her mom. I was so confused when I first met his family and he was explaining how everyone was related!

No. We really only had things in common because we lived under the same roof. They are nice enough people, but one lives on the other side of the country and I have no idea where the other one lives (South America?). No bad blood between the kids though.
