I wasn't able to make it to all the ultrasounds like I had wanted... but because we had high risk pregnancies, I was able to make to all of the early ones where we were both really worried.
Did your SO accompany you on all of your ultrasounds? Did you find it useful to have his or her in-person support?

yes, but only because we stopped having them when he stopped being able to come to my appointments

Yup, if I'm doing all the donkey work for these babas he can share all the inconvenience! We rescheduled one u/s that he wouldn't have got to, so its a complete record so far. We're high risk too, as twins automatically seem to be, so there have been quite a few.

Yes, the DH didn't want to miss out on hearing the heartbeat especially. He loved to hear it.

Hubs was only able to come to the anatomy scan (19 weeks)...That's it. It made me a little sad but he just wasn't able take the time off work. But I always called him afterwards to give him the update!

He was able to come to the first appt. at 8 wks and the 12 wk and 20 wk ultrasounds--which were the most important to me. My former OB used to give a quick ultrasound to check on baby at most appointments. Now that I go to a midwife we most likely won't see this baby again until she is born.

only 5 of my 13 U/S, but those 5 were the most important, the others were just tracking and monitoring. I was OK going to the others by myself, I was in the waiting room longer than on the table in most instances, and was able to follow up with him right after to let him know what was going on

We've only had two US and DH has been able to come to both of them. Unless something changes with the pregnancy I won't have any others.

DH went to all the ultrasounds and all the appts up until they started doing weekly cervical checks. We had a lot more ultrasounds than most people because my sister is an ultrasound tech and got us some free ones at the hospital she worked at.

DH can't easily get out of work - he made the dating US/first appt because it was in the afternoon, but he had to get out early and his boss wasn't pleased. The NT scan he missed - and we're hoping he'll be able to make anatomy scan. He'll be missing the appointment that we hear the heartbeat for the first time 
but I'm going to try to record it on my phone.
We're scheduling a private US around 16 weeks to try to find out gender a little early, and so DH can experience an ultrasound!

We only have 2 so yes, the hubs was there. He doesn't come to my monthly doc visits though.

He came to all my ultrasounds. I miscarried before having lo so I was always terrified for ultrasounds.

My husband comes to all the visits, ultrasound and otherwise. Even just the quick ones where they just measure my belly, weigh me and send me on my way. He has a pretty flexible schedule, so we've been able to get appointment times that work for both of us.

So far we have only had one appointment, and actually had an unplanned U/S so he was able to see the baby. It made it more "real" for him to see it which was great.
Now with me having my cyst, he is planning on attending all my appointments in case something goes wrong. If he's unable too, my mom has offered to be my support which i will gladly take her up on!

He's been to all of my appointments so far. He's not going to go with me to the 2 week ones, though. He'll go once a month with me still. It's so nice to have his hand there to hold through everything, even if it is good news. It's our baby, I want him a part of everything!

Yes, he made it to all 5 ultrasounds (3 medical, 2 elective)- I made sure to only schedule them when he was off work. He made it to about half of my regular appointments, but those weren't such a big deal to me. It wasn't so much that I needed the support, I wanted him to feel closer to his son since he didn't get the closeness that I did being pregnant.

DH has been to all my appointments, and plans to continue going as long as he doesn't have an unexpected work issue. I think he enjoys going and hearing the heart beat and asking the OB questions (or at least hearing her answers to my questions first-hand). Plus, I told him that if he wants babies, this is a requirement

He made it to my first 4 ultrasounds (dating, NT, anatomy, and 1 other), and since then he has been way too busy at work to leave mid-day. These later ones aren't as important really, I just give him a phone update when I am done at them. These later ones are just a quick growth check and BPP score though, so they don't really show you much.

Wow, so many of you have had a lot of ultrasounds! I just had one at 9 weeks to be sure there was a viable pregnancy and then the anatomy scan. My husband made the anatomy scan, but I didn't know they'd be doing an U/S at my first appointment, so he missed that, unfortunately.

If this pregnancy sticks hubs will likely come to all my appointments. He really wants to be as involved as possible... and he has a flexible schedule where it's easy for him to leave the office for an hour or two.

he's made it to a few. i don't need him there as support. but i feel like it makes the pregnancy real for him because he can see the babies and all their parts and their movements.
