I just bought one on Amazon... when did you start using it regularly? I hear it can help baby get head down, and help with hip pain. Curious, because I've never used one! Anyone else have one?

I did! It was awesome for my hip/lower back pain during the last few weeks of pregnancy. It didn't really help get labor going, but I really liked having it. Plus, it saves your knees when bouncing baby after birth.

My chiropractor and midwife suggested I start using it sometime during my second trimester. I would just get on it and bounce for about 15 minutes before bed. Later into my pregnancy my chiropractor would give me exercises/stretches to do on the ball in addition to my regular bouncing. It definitely helped with hip pain a ton!

It hurt my back while I was pregnant, but now that A is here, he loves to be bounced on it (in our arms). That's how we get him to sleep!

Glad to hear it helped some of you with hip pain... and bouncing the baby on it sounds like a great idea! Will definitely be trying that

Yep, started around 36 weeks. By the end it was the only place I could comfortably sit and was great during early labor.

I used one when I was pregnant, but I got an epi so not for birth. I started using it during my 3rd trimester. I think it helped LO get in a good position- I only had to push for an hour and the nurse said 2 hours was average for the first baby.

We already have one for exercise so I was actually just sitting on it. I suppose I should more, instead of slumping on the couch.

I was too lazy to really use it but I finally did as my due date approached. I swear that it put me into labor!

Yep. It's amazing for sitting and bouncing and simply rotating the hips on in the last tri.

I loved mine! I used it like everyday in the third trimester and it totally helped me while I labored at home (10 hours) before going to the hospital.

Yeah I ended up borrowing one from my SIL around 35 weeks.

I have one, though I'm yet to use it and it just ends up getting kicked around our family room!
