When my grandma passed away the rabbi stated that she had 19 grandchildren and great grandchildren. I think that would be awesome to have so many! My other grandma only had 3 grandchildren (my mom's sister never had kids) and when she passed my LO was the only great grandchild. There are benefits to having a small amount though.... she was able to spoil us like crazy!

My moms mom has 6 grand children and 7 great grandchildren plus one on the way. My dads parents died before I was born but she would have only had two grandchildren (me and my brother) an one great grandchild plus one on the way.

My LO is the first (and only, so far) great great grandchild. He has 2 great great grandmothers and one great great grandfather. O_o
my maternal grandparents have 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild
my paternal grandparents have 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Not really. My maternal grandparents have 5 grandchildren (my baby will be first great grandchild when he is born) and my paternal grandparents have 8 (my baby will make great grandchild #4).

My grandparents (mom's side) had 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. They passed away but how cool to have such a big family! My grandparents (dad's side) had 9 grandchildren and 10 or so great grandchildren. I only have 1 grandma now, but at least she can enjoy all the kiddos!
