So at my monthly appointment this morning I was horrified to see that I've gained a total of almost 30 pounds already... and I'm only 27 weeks along! I gained a total of around 40 with Wagon Jr. so that gives me only 10 pounds left and I'm not even into the third trimester yet. YIKES.

So it's time to really start being careful. Usually when I need to lose or maintain weight I do a big kitchen purge and fill my cabinets and fridge with low fat and healthy snacks. It's tough this time though because I want to constantly snack, and I'm allergic to most fresh fruits and veggies so I can't do apples, carrot sticks, or celery.

I just stocked up on yogurt, healthy choice fudge bars, fiber one bars, popchips, pineapple, grapes, popcorn, skinny cow candy, lean cuisines for lunches and weight loss shakes (like slim fast) for breakfasts.

I'm not too confident about the slim fasts though-- does anyone think it's not good to drink those for breakfast while pregnant?

And what do you stock up on when you're trying to watch your calorie / fat intake??
