Pp bleeding stopped after about 2-3 weeks.
A couple days ago I started bleeding again.
Not sure what's going on.. Wondering if I already started my period? Baby is only 5 weeks old..
He's sleeping 7-10 hours at night though and I don't always wake up every 3 hours to pump..
Thoughts?

The same thing happened to me and it was my period.:-( It was really heavy and it lasted for a week. It was a regular visitor after that.

@autumnlove: oh fun! It's not super heavy, but I was never a heavy bleeder. -.- will keep an eye out for my monthly friend.

Sounds like your period to me...boo!! It happened to me too. I stopped bleeding 4 1/2 weeks postpartum & at 6 weeks, I was bleeding again. Doc confirmed it was my period.

Have you had a change in your activity level at all? I have gone for a few says without any bleeding and then over do it and have a nice gush of blood again.

happened to me to. it was my period and it was wonky until he was about 12 weeks old. but i couldnt breastfeed for long(sadly, i wanted to!) so that contributed to getting my cylce back earl too.

@mrsmenow: no change in activity, but maybe more stress? 
I have my 6 week next week so will talk to my ob about it.. Feels like my period. So weird. :T

@chopsuey119: mine started at 8 weeks pp.. Once baby started sleeping 7-8 hours and I was exclusively pumping it came back.. I thought exclusive pumping and EBF had the same effect on your body. Found out later that it doesn't.

I had a similar experience, but it didn't turn out to be my period -- I got that at 7 months pp when I stopped pumping :). I think for me it was just random pp bleeding that was on and off for 10 weeks or so!

bummer!!! that's no fun. Mine returned at 6 months when DS started STTN half the week! it really sucked though because then he regressed and is just now starting to STTN again!

I'm not bleeding, but I've had wicked cramps that last several days, worse than my normal period cramps. I'm hoping that it's PP related, not period related.
