If you have a boy and a girl did you notice differences between your pregnancies? I hopefully get to find out tomorrow if we're having a boy or girl and I have no feeling one way or the other (though I was wrong with my first). The only thing I've noticed is that this pregnancy my body is different than the first in a couple ways. I'm carrying lower, my boobs haven't gone growth crazy, and my hair didn't get as thick, not sure if that means anything or not.

My pregnancies were really similar.
Only real difference was I gained less weight , but my tummy was a lot bigger. Baby boy gave his mama stretch marks!! -
I had hyperemesis gravidarum with both pregnancies, although my second (boy) was a lot more manageable. I wasn't as sick and I was able to gain more weight; although I do attribute that to better disease management and medication.
Otherwise, I carried my son lower, and he got much bigger than his sister. I also wasn't as emotional. With my daughter I was just so emotional, all the time; with my son, I felt a lot more clear-headed. We were Team Green both times, and with my daughter, I really didn't know what she was; with my son, I was pretty convinced he was a boy from early on.

I have a girl and I don't know what the baby in my belly is yet. I'm pretty sure it's a boy though, because my pregnancies have been so different. Last time was migraines galore and acne. I think LO's girly hormones gave that to me. This time migraines are pretty under control, no acne, but more morning sickness.

@artbee: Don't be so sure! I'm having another boy and my pregnancies have been completely different, so I don't buy into this idea anymore -- or any sort of gender prediction (other than an ultrasound photo of the goods!) First time around was easy-peasy, no M/S, etc ... this time, pretty bad M/S, bad food aversion, etc. Everyone swore it would be a girl because of that, even the doctor ... nope!

@Mrs. Yoyo: I actually did one of those things where you write down all of the old wives tales and see if you have more boy or girl answers. It said girl. But I still just have this strong feeling it's a boy. I had that feeling with LO too that she was a girl. I'm not going to throw away all of her pink clothes or anything.... but I will be pretty surprised if we have another girl.

yes, I've had 2 different pregnancies.
#1 was a boy. I craved spicy foods, had no morning sickness, carried him all in front
#2 is a girl. I crave sweets like it's no ones business! I can't really stand spicy food. my skin is a lot worse this time. I was nauseous from until 14 weeks. i'm carrying her ALL OVER!
also, the old wives tale about the linea negra(if you get a línea nigra and it runs from your pubic area to your belly button only, it’s a girl, and if it goes all the way up from your pubic area to the bottom-most part of you rib cage, then it’s a boy.) was/is true for me.

Despite there being some differences we're having another girl!!!
Very excited for LO#1 to have a sister and my husband is convinced that my side of the family doesn't make boys anyways so he said he already knew it was a girl and was excited.

I so thought I was going to have a boy the second time because my pregnancies were like night and day! I had no ms with #1 but was nauseated every day for 12 weeks with #2. I was perfectly fine with #1 but was dead tired and sore with #2 I also carried my second lower and more out front, we were very shocked to find out it was another girl!

@artbee: I'm only on my first, so I have nothing to compare it to, but DH and I are both totally convinced this is a boy. We are team green, 33 weeks, and we both keep being like, We are going to be SO surprised if this is a girl. Like, completely shocked. Just about every old wive's tale says boy too.

@Foodnerd81: At first my DH thought I was crazy but now he keeps saying boy too for us. I think just because I'm so convinced, he is too.

@Foodnerd81: The majority of old wives tales have said boy for both pregnancies, and more people say boy from the way I'm carrying but unless there's a surprise we'll have two girls!

Mine were VERY different:
DD ~ nausea, craved fruits and sweets (loved waffles and strawberry smoothies), absolutely hated meat
DS ~ Just super exhausted and wanted MEAT. I loved spicy food and just wanted to eat meat all the time.Current pregnancy makes me think girl, but we will see!

@MamaBehr: oh yes smoothies! How could I forget? I seriously should be stock in panera because I could have a smoothie everyday if DH wouldn't mind the cost lol
