I found these dolls while doing a search and OMG, they're so cute! DD's way too young to be interested in dolls but I'm wondering if they've been around for long. Part of me wants to hoard them for when she's older, but I don't even know if she'll be the doll type! Sigh.
Anyone have them? Do they hold up well for tea parties? They're so cute!

I'm going nuts! I think I want to get the Tiana for a friend's daughter and Rupunzel for LO's cousin. But I already bought her this year's gift and LO's cousin lives kinda of far and we never see her. So I'll be hoarding cute dolls for over a year! I'm ridiculous, I just want to justify the shipping charge and just needed to write that down to see how obsessive I'm being. Lol, OK ... end of spam.
I have to add that vendors on Amazon are selling a few of them for a ridiculous price! But they're all available through Disney Store for normal price ($24.50 + shipping).

So cute! My LO is only 13 months and already loves her doll! She got one for her birthday and she's so sweet to her, she gives her kisses Of course she'd have no idea that the doll was a Disney princess if I gave her one of these though....

@artbee: Which one will you be getting Notice I asked which one instead of if you're getting one. Hehe! I think I'm in love with Pocahontas' pouty expression. 13 months isn't that far off for my LO, it's under a year! But the doll will probably be the same size as her!
I don't want to bombard her with dolls though, but they're so affordable! They should have had these when I was a kid!

@Crumbs: See that's the thing, I want to wait until my LO is old enough to fall in love with a specific disney movie and disney princess and make these decisions for herself. I loved beauty and the beast... funny because the movie was centered around a rose and that's what I ended up naming my LO

@artbee: I love Beauty and the Beast too! I know I should wait to buy them until LO's old enough, but I'm scared they won't make these anymore. The Rupunzel's selling on Amazon for over $100! They must have sold out before.

@Crumbs: Can't hurt to buy them then, just save them! I think it would be a sweet tradition to give her a doll for every Christmas or for her birthday (or a couple of dolls since there are so many of them).

I figured out who to buy them for!!! Yay! My cousin's twins, friend's DD, and I'm torn between Pocahontas and Merida! As much as "I" love them, I don't want LO to have too many because I'm afraid she won't appreciate them. I kinda envision her with just 1 big doll. Or maybe just enough for a tea party. Hehe!

I've adored these for what seems like a while in the Disney Store. I think my favorite is Pocahontas; I love her expression. Rapunzel comes in a close second.
If you love them and feel that you'd be sad if they sold out, then to me it isn't horrible to buy one for your LO, even if they won't use it any time soon. The trick is to stop at one

My DH used to work near the Disney Store in NYC and came home with Ariel and Belle one night for DD! It was a nice surprise... She loves the Disney Princesses. My hubby loves to surprise her and he also likes the look of these dolls.

@sunny: how old is your Lo? I bought rapunzel (for 20 bucks!) for my 6 year old niece.. I've been wondering if she'll love it or not.. I think I liked dolls when I was 6 but can't remember!

Oh wow, these are so cute! I might get LO the Ariel because we call her Little Mermaid since she's ALWAYS swimming around in my belly! She doesn't kick a lot, it just feels like she's swimming around:)

I saw the sale too and ended up getting Ariel and Rapunzel for my cousin's twins and Pochahantas for me ... er, I mean my LO! My Mom already got her Belle and I think 2 is perfect for a tea party. I have to find that picture of Pocohantas I found wearing a homemade outfit! Sooo friggen cute!!!

i'm obsessed with these! i would have died for one of these as a little girl. my baby girl is still cooking, so she won't be able to enjoy one for a long time... but i'm still having to talk myself out of buying one!

@Crumbs: omg adorable!! Uhm... I might need a second one now. I didn't think of dressing them in other clothes but in that case LO could totally have her own American girl style "me" doll. Pocahontas or Mulan could work...

Oh my gosh these are adorable! I LOVE dolls.
Merida's expression is priceless, but I think my favorite is either Rapunzel or Ariel.
