I see an expiration date on them, but I wonder how important it actually is?

I read that they put the dates because they can discolor over time, but they don't really "expire".

What!? I've never even noticed an expiration date!

Technically I think everything has to have an expiration date! But I would totally ignore it. they don't break down in landfills so they're probably doing ok
