Once in a while people compliment Charlie's name. Even though it is not a super popular name overall, it is very popular in Brooklyn! But it's a pretty classic boy's name.
We get compliments on Olive's name all the time though. Several parents have told me that Olive was a serious contender for their daughter's name.

@Mrs. Bee: I love both of your children's names! They are super cute, and I love that they aren't super common. I've met few children named Charlie and I have never met an Olive.
My son's name is Cooper, and we have received compliments on it. It isn't a super common name from what we have seen at least.

We get compliments on both our girls' names. People gush over Lala's full name and always say it's so perfect for her and so classic. People tend to gush more about M.'s nickname, but Magnolia is always a slow burn and people will come back days or weeks later and say that it's such a great name 
We even get compliments on their middle names and how their names go together with each other. We're very happy with our choices.

My son's name is Rhett, and people either love it or have no idea what I said. The people who recognize it typically compliment it and say things like "he'll be a perfect southern gentleman with that name."

People always exclaim, "Aw, it's such an...Old name!" and I'm not offended at all - I like that LO's name isn't popular at all and is an old lady name.

Yes, people always say it is the perfect name for him, they always know someone who has a Cameron.

People LOVE both the names we chose. They find it original (because french quebecers tend to all have names in the top 10) They love how we chose a name that fit for both french and english
A classic response, "Mavrick is such a cool name, good job!"
and for Sienna, they find it soft yet it fits with Mavrick.
I'm happy with our name choices.

I do. Especially from people my parents age. They usually love it because their mom or grandparent has the same name.

People love Penelope's name so we get quite a few compliments there. As for DS, his name has become pretty popular since he was born so it kinda "just another name".

Yes. Grayson doesn't seem to be super popular around here(yet) and people always say its such a unique name, yet not weird. A lot of people haven't even heard of it

yes, we haven't met a lot of other LOs with the same name as lil' CB, and a lot of times, people will tell us that love lil' CB's name, telling us, "i haven't heard that one a lot, but i really like it!"

Olive was my grandmother's name - I always wanted a slight variation with Olivia for a girl, but it's too popular now. Olive is one of my favorites!

Yep. Her name is Madison Rose and they just love it. At first they hear Madison and it's "That's cute." but with the Rose it's "That's so pretty!" I guess naming her after her great grandmother was a smart thing.
