My FIL asks me everytime that I see or speak to him if I can make sure the baby in my uterus is a girl because he wants a few granddaughters before he has any grandsons. Um...I'm already pregnant and I can't control that!

Oh my gosh, yes. We were under a lot of pressure to have a girl from all of DH's family...there hasn't been one born into the family in 75 years. One BIL and one SIL in particular were very adamant that I make sure I was having a girl (they each had 2 boys, btw).
Well, we had a boy, lol...and no one was surprised. If they were disappointed about it they didn't say anything to me...if they had I might have kicked them!
