At the end of May I had blood drawn to try and figure out why I am not getting my period. Would they have also checked for pregnancy with that blood?
What about when they do just regular routine blood work? Do they check for hCG then?
Just curious!

Nope, they'll let you know (I believe) if they do since they can tell that within a few minutes, so they would have told you.
My doctor always tells me when she checked for pregnancy, and it wasn't every time she took bloodwork. It can't hurt to ask though! Give them a call, they will let you know

@MrsTiz: Nah it doesn't really matter now, it was a month ago and I'm sure they would have told me if it was notable lol! I was just wondering if I should consider myself having not taken a pregnancy test since the beginning or end of May.

@pui: I wouldn't count on them having given you one, so go with whenever you last POAS.
To be safe, you can always go POAS right now

@MrsTiz: I haven't taken a test since CD40 then, around 2 months ago... I'm on CD104 now. I'm 99.99999% sure it's just going to be negative so I kind of don't want to face that... I'll probably take one tomorrow maybe...

Not unless there is a reason, like you are having a test or procedure done that you should't do while pregnant.

I don't want to get my hopes up again. It will be painful to see the negative because that means I have to fully accept that I am just broken.
I'll take one when I get home from work and update you guys, but no one get excited, lol.

@pui: I am sorry
that's very sad to hear. You are not broken. You may have some issues fertility-wise, but you're not broken. I know it's easy for me to say, but you are more than your reproductive system!

No, mine doesn't... But when my doctor gives me a requistion for bloodwork, if i am suspecting something, I write in HCG in the other tests area. When I found out I was pregnant with my DD, the nurses at my drs office told me to do that.

@sloaneandpuffy: Unfortunately, that does not make me feel better at all at CD105. There is no good reason I still don't have a period.
