My LO's never fussed or cried because she has a wet or dirty diaper.
If I didn't check her diapers periodically or smell her booty every once in a while, I wouldn't know that she pee'd or poop'd!

Not at all. I can usually smell her poo, but I just change her diaper every couple of hours no matter what.

Nope, doesn't bother him at all.
However, sometimes (and I'm not totally sure why) he will pee his outfit. It will shoot up towards his back and soak him. That really pisses him off and even if he's sleeping he will wake up and cry.

Yes! She screams like a diva as soon as her diaper is wet or poopy! Luckily, she doesn't wake up in the middle of the night when she pees!

Poopy diapers don't bother my baby, but she will scream when her diaper is wet.

Not usually. I feel like this will make for a difficult time potty training. Boo.

DS has gotten much better...but when he was first born he would cry and cry until we changed his diaper after 1 pee! it was becoming ridiculous. but now he'll go a little while before he fusses for us to change it. but he doesn't like a poopy diaper at all!! that we have to change immediately!

@winniebee: DS used to pee out of his diaper down his back all the time. that's when we realized we need to point that penis down!! haha

She fusses a little in cloth because she can actually feel the wetness, but never in disposables.

yep she hates it. sometimes if she is crying and i don't know what is wrong with her, i usually try changing her diaper and it makes her a happy camper!

It doesn't bother her if she's in one place - like still in her bassinet or pack n play. But if we move her, she seems to notice it and then starts screaming.

Yes, they bother her. It's probably because it bothers me and I've been OCD about changing her diapers since she was born.

She doesn't fuss or cry but lately if she is not napping (just rolling around in her crib) I will check her diaper and a lot of times she has a poopy diaper and after I change it she will go to sleep.

Yep, little girl is a D.I.V.A about dirty bums. She will sleep if she pees in the night, but if she's awake, she will get caaa-rank-eee if she's sitting in a wet bum.

When she was little, she would cry but now? She would rather play than have a diaper changed!
pomegranate / 3388 posts
Nope. I just make sure to change her after every feeding. Also, I can hear when she poops, and then I change her.

When DS was little, he would start crying as soon as he messed up his diaper. Now, he'll play around a little before he starts fussing. I still feel like we go through a ton of diapers though!

Yep. She's fusses like no other with a wet diaper. Her latest antics include peeing while on the changing pad, then catnapping only to wake herself up to more pee.

DD hated being wet when first born, now she tells us or we smell her. She is starting to become aware and we are slowly starting potty training so now she often tells us she's gone when she hasn't.

Same here. Neither of my kids are really bothered by soiled diapers.

Only in disposable diapers. She is bothered by wet + poopy diapers if she is wearing a disposable diaper. but if she is wearing cloth, she doesnt care at all
