We don't. We never have. Usually we're on the same page though. We know how much money we have and how much we can afford to spend. However, I've been saving for our anniversary so I spent more then I feel that he will. Not that I care, I just don't want him to feel bad about it. This is why people set limits.
Do you set money limits with your SO for gifts? If you don't, how do you know how much to spend?

We don't have a limit, either. Like you, we know what we can afford so we just go ahead and buy what we want (if we can).

We never do... we've tried to set budgets for the last few Christmases... it's more than less likely, that we just base it off of what we can afford at the time... we end up being around the same ballpark figure... and if we aren't, who cares... as long as we can afford it and the other enjoys the gift!

Nope, no budgets ...we usually just get what we want to get. His gifts (that he buys for me) always end up being more expensive though! I guess womens gifts aka shoes and jewelry tend to be more expensive than stuff guys like, lol.

we don't have any limits. when it comes to gifts, we just buy what we want to get the other person. or (in our case), he buys stuff he wants and it's from both of us haha.
