I do! I never used to, I was actually really against it, until I found a store around me that sells only the top brands in excellent condition. I just bought some stuff from there that included, Gap, Express, AE, etc. I got a pair of jeggings, and 4 shirts for $40. I figure, if I buy things used for LO, I can buy them for myself

Yup! We have some really nice consignment stores around here. I don't shop there often, but I don't have any problem with used clothes (for the most part)

@autumnlove: oh yeah, our goodwill doesn't have great clothes. They take just about anything, whereas the consignment store I go to is very picky with quality and brands.

Yup. From consignment shops and good wills. At the good will I have to dig to find good stuff but I've found gap, crew and loft! Things I would never be able to buy new. There is nothing wrong with buying used ;). I buy a lot used foe my lo too and am able to fond some good stuff.

Yup! I used to live across an awesome thrift store. It was a wealthy neighborhood so there were lots of designer goods like Armani! Now I live near an awesome thrift store with lots of great vintage. I also love consignment stores!

I don't usually but I would! Its hard to take LO there since they are so crowded and small, and I rarely get a chance to go out by myself.

Nope, but we don't have any good consignment stores around us -- all we have are Goodwills & Value Villages.

Sometimes... Growing up I only shopped thrift stores since it's what we could afford. But I have learned that quality is truly valuable once you're full-grown! I definitely "invest" in some pieces.
We don't have a ton of nice consignment stores around my area though - goodwill and salvation army - but occasionally I'll peruse through.

Yes, although we don't have consignment stores really. Though the jeans I am wearing now are from a maternity/baby consignment store. I don't really get the "I won't buy used clothes for baby if I don't buy it for myself" mindset though. Kids clothes get so much less wear and have such a shorter lifespan that I think it makes even more sense to buy used for them!

Almost all of the clothing I've bought in the past two years is used. It does take some time and patience to find good stuff. I actually found a great dress for a holiday party at Goodwill - $6.50!

I don't have a problem with it. I have a hard time finding anything good for myself though. My DH is always getting amazing deals.

I have.... but I haven't gone shopping in a long long time! I don't need to because my sister and friend have been giving me their hand me downs..... so I'm wearing used clothes, just not buying them

I just can't handle digging for stuff! I feel like 2nd hand stores require digging and I can't do it! I'm the same way about buying stuff fronm new places too that are hodge-podgy & require digging- like Tj maxx & marshalls...Digging through racks makes me so agitated and I just end up leaving. So I don't really even try...

No, I hardly ever buy clothes so when I do, I want it to be new.
