DD looks like me so I can't really answer objectively but DH isn't bothered by the fact that everyone says DD looks like me. He just shrugs and says "Whatever, she is my daughter, that's all I care about!"

LO is the splitting image of the hubs and I'm just glad LO looks like one of us. What I don't like is that my MIL is a bit smug about it.

I don't know who they'll look like yet, but since we don't look anything alike I have a feeling they will look more like one than a combination. DH is AA & I'm caucasian. From what I've seen the AA genes tend to be stronger, so I think they'll look more like him. It doesn't bother me. I think he's gorgeous, so maybe that helps, if he were less attractive maybe I'd feel differently=D
I did ask him once if it would bother him if our children came out looking just like me. He said he'd be a little sad if they didn't look at all AA

Not gonna lie... Hubs and I look a lot alike so the kid will probably look like both of us.

I never had expectations of my future kids looking like me, I just have expectations of them being adorable. I think the only thing that would bother me would be someone thinking they were adopted since I'm Caucasian and my husband is Asian.

I thought I'd care before having my LO, but I love her no matter who she looks like! She has both of our features and I love it!

My toddler looks like my DH's side of the family and the baby is the spitting image of me at that age...so it works out! Not that I would mind either way.

@Andrea: I think she looks mostly like you but does have some of your DH there too. She's adorable!
LO is a good mix of us and I think we're both pretty happy about that. I know DH loves it when people say she looks like him.

@Mrs. Jacks: lol cute!
I don't really care all that much. All I wanted was for LO to have my eyes cause I love my eyes. He got them! And everyone comments on how beautiful his eyes are.
But he is turning out to look more and more like me and my side of the family. My DH is upset about it though, he started looking like DH and now it's less and less and DH gets upset whenever someone says he looks like me/my family. He takes it so personally! It's pretty funny and my whole family teases him

It makes no difference to me! As long as the baby doesn't look like the mailman, right?
I do hope that baby gets some of DH's features. He has perfect teeth, a cute nose, and wonderful warm brown eyes!

@artbee: omg, we just saw my BIL and he had to point out again tha LO doesn't look like DH. But you are right, there is still some resemblance to him, most people can't tell though.
