I nod or give grateful hand signals to other drivers when they let me merge or turn left.
I rarely use my horn and I don't think I've flipped anyone off in years!

Yup! I always give a thank you wave when someone lets me in. And I get irrationally angry when others don't do the same!
I definitely honk a lot too though. Nashville drivers suck. It's necessary!

I sometimes wish they had a polite "excuse me but the light has been green for 10 seconds" horn. I usually wave thank you, and sometimes i will wave if i realized i cut someone off.

I wave when people let me in, if they actually slowed down to let me in. If I have to cut in, I don't wave.
At the mall on Christmas Eve, I gave a lady the Ross and Monica flip off (you know, hitting fists together) for not letting me in--I was turning right out of the parking lot and she pulled up to block the entrance, which was especially infuriating because I wanted to be in the other lane, not hers!
