I didn't count for LO and haven't counted this time around either.

I'm 22 weeks so I'm not sure if I'm at the counting stage, but I do feel her many times per day. I keep track in my head, meaning if I haven't felt anything in a few hours I sit down and pay attention but nothing beyond that. I probably won't count unless my doctor wants me to.

I never did - he was bonkers in the third tri so I never really wondered.

My doctor's office has us do a kick count card. At some point every day I make it a point to focus on LO and see how long it takes to feel 10 kicks or moves. Most nights I'll do this after dinner and can usually get my 10 in less than 20 minutes. One night it took up to 40 minutes. I'm also kinda excited to keep it so that when she's older I can show her how active she was.

I didn't count, but it's because she was almost always moving around.

I never did ..I just made sure I felt her at least 2x a day (per OB).

I only did if I didn't feel like I felt her for a long, long time.

I have since 24 weeks (despite the standard being 28) because I've had major anxiety about her well-being my entire pregnancy. Even now at 39+3 (being induced on my EDD) I still do two counts a day at a minimum- one before I get out of bed in the morning and one before I go to sleep.
I wish I could be a care-free mama who doesn't obsess about movement!

i don't count, but like you, i mentally note when he moves around.

My OB requests that we do counts every day after a certain point in the pregnancy (can't remember when, but I want to say 25 weeks). I used to do it while watching TV before bed. It was a fun ritual for my husband and me, because I rarely felt the baby during the day if I wasn't concentrating on her.
I wish I had kept a written log to show DD! What a fun idea.

I never counted, but I was aware of the general frequency and the times she was most active

Like @artbee: I only do it every now and then if I feel like baby hasn't been very active that day. For the most part I'm getting constant squirming in there so I don't worry about counting.

I do the same as you - i don't count but if I haven't felt him in a while I always try to get him to squirm!

My OB always asked if I did movement counts but I always forgot. I just made sure I felt her every once in a while and I was happy.

If I haven't felt her for awhile I will try to get her to move. If all else fails I use my fetal heartrate monitor.
