Not really? I text photos and videos of the kids to Bee's mom, and email with her brother now and then too. But I never call them, unless it's to have the kids say hi. We do visit them pretty regularly though, and have a good relationship.

Nope. We get along fine but only DH does the calling/texting. Same vice versa but I think DH has called/text my parents before.

My mil and I will text about pics of lo, or logistics when we're visiting. But usually she texts dh.

I text with my MIL and SIL, but not chit chatting, just asking questions, making plans, that sort of thing.

MIL and I text all the time. Mostly about our kids or plans for her to visit.

I used to dread calling my MIL (I hate the phone) and ever since she got texting, we communicate often. I send her pictures of LO, tell her about our day, etc. I think she really likes it.

I'll send pictures/videos to FIL phone, MIL doesn't have texting. Usually DH does the calling, but I will call and check in on LO if she's doing an overnight with MIL or if I have a question. We have a good relationship but DH usually does the talking.

Yes (well, my MIL, not really so much my FIL or step-MIL). MIL is just getting into texting so she texts me several times a week and I text her too. We also have dinner together once a week or more, and usually get together on the weekends.

No. And texts from her generally get deleted and not answered. Because they're usually stupid.

I have on occasion, but only to relay a message that I didn't trust DH to pass on in time. I talk to DH's siblings on a pretty regular basis, though.

No. Every time I call they think something is wrong with my husband, so I stopped calling.

I text mil pics sometimes. We FaceTime the inlaws once a week or so all together though. And last night they facetimed when DH wasnt home and I answered. Best DIL ever

My best friend (since second grade ) is my SIL so we text all the time. I text my MIL pics of dd every now and then

MIL just got an iPad from us for Christmas. I've been showing her how it works. I have an iPhone, so we've been iMessaging. She doesn't have a cell so no traditional texting before this. We do talk to each other every couple of weeks on the phone. Same with FIL. DH talks to them more frequently. I also take to his parents more frequently than he talks to mine.

yes. they live 2 blocks away so I see them often. we text a couple times a week (and see them that much, too).

MIL and I text frequently, call rarely (mostly because DH's phone is dead lol). They only live a few miles away though so we see them at least once a month.

Not married yet but my soon to be mother and father in law I don't txt or call. Kinda refuse too. They started up drama in the past that I can't get over. However my fiancés grandma is an entirely different story! I love her to death!

Yes. I call/text MIL quite a bit and often take DS into her work for a visit if im in the area.
Today is FIL's birthday and my husband is at a bachelor party but DS and I still went to my IL's house for dinner.

I try to make a point to call my MIL at least twice a week to catch her up on LO and our lives since we are several states apart. We are friendly but not close.
