Every.time!!!

All the time! Drives me CRAZY! The back arching... He's so strong!

Hate when this happens

Yes, but most often, I don't force (most days). I shut the car doors (so he can't tumble out) and I sit in and wait until he decides he is ready. If he goes somewhere he shouldn't (front seat) I get him out, put him in his carseat and ask him to sit. Or I bribe him... He doesn't get lunch until he is buckled in. He doesn't get the toy he wants until he buckled in. We don't get to sing 5 ducks until he buckled in. He can get in and out of his seat by himself so that isn't as much of an issue.

I have forced when I couldn't wait usually I just knock the knees from the back (forcing them to bend). It isn't fun but rear facing is worth it.

I even have to wrestle my baby into her car seat. At least she isn't super strong yet. Those days of wrestling my toddler was no fun. Not looking forward to doing that again.

It's already started, and I don't see this going away any time soon. I can't imagine doing it in a convertible seat - we're still using the infant seat, so I can have plenty of room to wrestle her on the floor of our living room
