I am now because I've spent the evening doing Xmas stuff. I think sometimes you don't feel it until you start doing the holiday stuff so I think you'll definitely be in the mood tomorrow when you see Santa!

Yup, we are more in the spirit these days for sure because DD keeps asking about Santa (she's been asking ever since that snowstorm in Oct... to her 3 yo mind, snow equates Santa, lol).

We opened her Advent calendar yesterday and it's a neat way for her to learn how much more she has to wait. A visit to Santa is also in our near future... Hope she doesn't cry again!

i've been listening to some xmas songs (okay, only 3 on youtube playlist and they're contemporary xmas songs). but other than that, not really. haven't even started shopping for gifts. =(

My husband just called me scrooge mcduck. No lie. Because I asked him to wash off a christmas stamp be just put on me! So much for christmas spirit I guess!

YES!!! Maybe not in the people around me, but I'm making it feel like Christmas in my house I just finished baking 10 dozen cookies and watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Between those things and the Christmas decorations, I'm ready for the holiday season!!!

Getting there, we just put up our tree, so that helps. Getting into the holiday spirit is always a bit of a challenge for me since we live in Phoenix. Palm trees and 60 degree weather just doesn't scream holiday spirit.

@lemondrop: I totally agree with you there!! I live close to Houston, TX so we never know what the winters will be like. Earlier this week it was in the 50's, now it's in the 70's and humid. There's just something about wearing short sleeves in the winter that makes it really hard to feel like the Christmas season.

I've been listening to Xmas music for 3 weeks now. If only there was a little snow it would help a little!

Sort of? For some reason, the holiday spirit was late to kick in, if at all. I blame the craziness of work and Thanksgiving coming too soon. But, I got a lot of Christmas shopping done yesterday, all our decor is up, and I started listening to the Christmas radio station...

Hopefully I'll be less of a scrooge after this wknd!

Not at all this....probably because we are focused on our LO who is due right around Christmas! I usually love getting real trees but I think I will just whip out the mini fake tree this year!

YES! Tree is up, lights are strung, ate a batch of my favorite cookies, and been to the jam packed shopping mall already. Tis' the season!

@BabyBoecksMom: we finally had a storm move in this weekend, so now it feels much more holiday-ish (you guys probably are too, at least I know my cousin in Dallas said the weather is going to be crummy). I do miss living in Colorado this time of year with the definitive seasons.

How are you feeling lately? We'll have to get a January board up over here My husband finished the tree today, I just sat and watched and napped. The little boy must have been growing since I was worn out!

Nope. Work has been hell and I've been working 14 hour days and weekends for the past few weeks. I'm in the middle of a jury trial which hopefully will end by Friday. Hopefully is the key word. Then, I'll get into the spirit.
