I always wonder how DH even ends up with holey underwear and socks. This has maybe happened to me 3 times in my life. For socks, I can understand since he has size 15 feet and has to jam his feet into socks that are too small since they normally only run up to size 13. But for underwear, this is more of a mystery to me. Does this happen to your things or just your SO's?

I never get holes in my socks or underwear but it always happens to DH. I don't know why or how that happens because I do all the laundry together.

Hubby gets holes in his socks sometimes but I throw them out...same with his undershirts. I used to have to do it secretly because he would complain they were still usable but now i can convince him to just buy new ones. But not so much his underwear, although I admit I have not checked them as closely! I only get holes in my underwear if they are like a mesh or delicate material and I snag it on a fingernail or something.

I get holes in my cotton underwear and cheap socks, but I never wash my clothes in the delicate cycle...maybe that's the cause?

I got holes in my socks once! From standing/walking around at home for 12 hours with very little rest time. Was cooking all day for a large group.

I get holes only running socks because they get worn in the same spots over and over. But never in my underwear. I do not understand how hubs gets holes in his undies! What is going on in there to cause holes?!

My husband used to always get holes in his socks, but I started buying him socks from the Clark's store. They seem pretty high quality and Clark's guarantees them forever. If you get a hole in one they are supposed to let you exchange them for a new pair. We haven't had to try that yet so I can't vouch for how well that works though!

The only holes I get in my socks aren't really holes...It's just when the heels or pads of my socks get so worn that they become mesh? Know what I mean? Then I throw them out.
I get holes in my cotton underwear on the side seam...I think when I put them on, I'm too aggressive or something. LOL.

Yes to socks, never in undies. DH gets holes in everything, lord knows how?

I get holes my socks, but it's after much wear. No holes in the undies though. Hubby gets holes in his undies and socks all the time and after a few wears! I don't understand.
